The Miss Placentia Scholarship Program is proud to be celebrating its 34th year in affiliation with the Miss America Organization; the largest scholarship federation for young women in the world! Last year the Miss Placentia Scholarship Program awarded over $11,000 to eleven exceptional young women in our community in order to further pursue their education at the university level. Miss Placentia was awarded $4,500. Our eleven teen contestants were awarded $2,500 in savings bonds, and Miss Teen was awarded a $700 savings bond. All of these academic scholarship awards are funded by tax-deductible donations from members of our community such as you. We are in hopes that we can count on your support this year.
This year’s Miss Placentia & Miss Yorba Linda Scholarship Program will take place winter 2010 at Valencia High School’s auditorium. Placentia’s Outstanding Teen Program will take place earlier the same day at 2:00pm, also at the same location.
