Farewell continued

When I first began the process of applying for Placentia’s Outstanding Teen, I thought of how exciting it would be to ride in the Heritage Day Parade and wave to the crowd.  Little did I know that this was but a tiny part of my many experiences as Miss Placentia’s Outstanding Teen.  I have been so fortunate to have a great team of dedicated volunteers to help me grow and learn.   Kathi and Glenn Baldwin:  Thank you so much for guiding me through this journey.  Because of your wonderful support and leadership, I have had the most amazing experience of my life this past year.   Sharon and Patrick:  When I decided to be in the pageant, I never imagined I would be discussing current event issues and refining my interview skills, and enjoying it!  Thank you.   Sabrina:  You are a definite fairy godmother to be able to get me to look like I could dance and walk gracefully.  Thanks for your help and all the “in the garage” practice time!   Jocelyn and Karen:  Who knew I would end the year being able to choose classy, stylish clothes for myself.  Thanks for giving me confidence and cute shoes to match!   Mary Bette:  Thanks for being such a great Chaperone!   Jamie, Sharanya and Elizabeth:  Thanks for the great times, the votes of confidence and all the great memories.  I couldn’t have asked for better pageant friends to spend the year with.   Mom, Dad, Grammy, Papa and Ma:  I could not have done it without all of your unconditional love and support.    My little brother, David:  I know it was a tough year for you having to be surrounded by beautiful girls, so thank you for hangin’ in there!   My amazing Princess Paige:  I can honestly say that my year would not be complete without YOU.
